Cookie Policy
Effective 7 October 2026 · Last updated 12 October 2026
1. What this covers
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This policy also covers similar technologies — session storage, local storage and pixels — which we describe together as cookies for simplicity.
2. What we set
Age acknowledgment
Records that the entry acknowledgment has been given, so it is not shown again during the visit. Stored in browser session storage, not a cookie.
Until the browser tab is closed
Cart and session
Keeps the contents of your cart and links your browser to your checkout session and, if you sign in, your account.
Session, or up to 30 days
Security
Protects forms and checkout against cross-site request forgery and abuse.
Session
Referral attribution
If you arrive through a partner or referral link, stores the code in the link, the page you landed on and the time, so that an order you place is credited to the person who introduced you. Kept in browser local storage, not a cookie. It is not shared with anyone and is not used for advertising, and it expires after 90 days. Arriving through a link also increases a daily count of visits for that code; nothing about you is stored with that count.
Up to 90 days
Preferences
Remembers choices you make, such as turning analytics off. Kept in browser local storage, not a cookie.
Up to 12 months
Analytics
On by default. Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages and products are used; Microsoft Clarity records clicks and scrolling as session replays, with anything typed masked and the text on checkout, account and order pages masked. Google Analytics is loaded through nuuvive.com, and when you place an order our server tells Google Analytics the order number, items and value (never your name, email or address). We use this to improve the site. To switch it off, use Cookie settings at the foot of any page and choose Opt out: the analytics cookies are deleted, neither tool loads again on that browser, and orders you place from it are not reported. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, analytics stays off automatically. Names: _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics); _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, SM (Microsoft Clarity).
Up to 24 months (Google Analytics); up to 12 months (Microsoft Clarity)
Essential cookies — cart, session and security — are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off without breaking checkout. Referral attribution is set only when you arrive through a partner or referral link and is described above. Analytics runs unless you opt out; see section 5.
3. What we do not set
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or data brokers, and we do not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising. We switch off advertising features in our analytics tools and tell Microsoft Clarity not to use its cookies for advertising. Microsoft's MUID identifier, which Clarity sets on Microsoft's own domains, is used across Microsoft services; opting out of analytics stops it being set through this site. We do not advertise this business on paid networks.
4. Third parties
Two categories of provider set cookies through this site: our analytics providers, which receive usage data and session replays (nothing once you opt out), and our payment provider, which sets cookies on its own secure payment page for fraud prevention and session security. Their own privacy notices govern what they do with that data. The categories are listed in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
5. How to control cookies
To turn analytics off, choose Cookie settings at the foot of any page, then Opt out. We delete the analytics cookies and stop loading Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on that browser; the choice is remembered on that device, and you can turn analytics back on the same way. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and analytics never loads.
Every major browser also lets you see, block and delete cookies, and offers a private browsing mode that clears them on exit. Blocking essential cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.
6. Changes and contact
We update this page when what we set changes; the date at the top shows when that last happened. Questions: support@nuuvive.com.
